Bookings require a 30% Deposit.
Any booking made without providing the required deposit will not be treated as valid.

For Sea Fishing Trips in the interests of safety, we restrict the numbers to 10 anglers.

Daily Rates for the boat and skipper are from £300 a day

A 30 % Deposit is required when booking. The balance is payable on the day of the trip.
Deposit will only be refunded if the boat cannot go out due to bad weather.

Sea Fishing Boat Trips

8 Hour Boat Fishing Trips

8 hour fishing trips, if started at 09.00 get back to the pier at 17.00 hours.
These trips are to catch Pollack, Cod ,Ling ,and Coalfish. We use light 20 / 30 pound rods and 20 pound line on the Reels, with artificial lures on French booms, winding up from the bottom 40 turns to tempt the fish to take a bite.

Another 8 hr trip could be for Shark fishing, where as we stay out for the same length of time. These trips steam out 8 to 15 miles. We stop the engine allowing Tor Mór to drift with the tide and the wind to push us across the bay.

Tackle is made up of 50 pound class rods with Penn 6/0 reels filled with 50 pound line. The terminal tackle is made up of the line free running through 3 net floats to a large swivel. From the swivel we crimp 12 feet of wire to a 14 0 hook. If lost this part of the tackle will dissolve in the water so that it is not in the fish forever if the fish wins the fight.
All Shark caught have a photograph taken with the angler and then are quickly released.

For Conger Eel fishing, we anchor above a wreck, and fish whole mackerel bait on 30 to 50lb class gear,  to catch Conger and Ling, with an added chance perhaps of catching Red Bream, Wrasse, and Pouting, on smaller bait. This fishing can be non stop with the Ling running to around 30lb, and the congers up to 70lb, or even 'the dream' 100lb conger.

An alternative trip is species fishing, on light tackle. We fish sand banks catching Turbot, Thorn Back Ray, Brill, Plaice, Dabs, Gurnards, and Mackerel.
On the Reefs we can catch , Cuckoo Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Pouting, Dog fish, Bullhuss, Ling, Conger, Scad and John Dory.
Pretty much every species of fish can be hooked.

4 Hour Boat Fishing Trips

4 hour trips leave at different times depending on the tide [Please phone for details].
These trips are for the same fish species as an 8 hour trip, but fishing closer to the shore as the time is shorter .
These trips are more suited to beginners, families, & those pushed for time.

2 Hour Boat Fishing Trips

2 hour trips just for Mackerel. This trip is perfect for your Children to have fun and get the chance to have a short ride on a boat, on which they will feel very safe. These trips will also leave at different times. So please phone or contact us for information.
